Iberostar Grand Paraíso Riviera Maya

I have been to several resorts throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, and this resort blew them all away. Especially our butler team. Daniel, Fatima and Adrian were beyond accommodating and we were never without our every desire... we will be back without question.

The whole resort was great and it was the service, friendliness and attention to detail that made the trip amazing. Staying in building 71 made a great vacation right in the beach.

Raymundo and Alma were excellent at the pool and made our vacation so much fun.

Magda was a great help in welcoming us and setting up all of our events. The resort was great and the service was impeccable. We will definitely return to Iberostar Jóia.

We had a nearly perfect stay with only nitpicking blemishes. Highlights: - The property is huge and gorgeous and kept in excellent and clean condition, including rooms day to day - Every member of the staff is friendly, professional, patient, and hard working. We were treated like royalty - The food is very good. The buffet is extensive and changes between meals and days. It is an outstanding value! - Several large pools including a "quiet pool" for relaxation - It never felt crowded, but had had plenty of life and good vibes - Outstanding beach with lifeguards and a zillion loungers - Excellent fitness centers; yes, multiple! - Never a long wait for a drink at any of the bars - Super easy to book safe and reliable off-site tours and adventures right at the hotel, with great rates, too We would not hesitate to stay here again!

I recently had my second stay at this resort and could not have been happier with my stays. The service and personal attention afforded to the guests is unparalleled. I have never felt more comfortable welcome away from home than I have at the Grand. I would highly recommend staying in building 71. The rooms are spacious and the views are beautiful. But the best part is having Trinidad, Marcelo, Ruben, and Manuel (amongst others - everyone was great) there to assist you with anything you may need. I actually felt appreciated being in their resort and being their guests. I’ve yet to experience that anywhere else that I’ve traveled, be it domestic or international. They truly made the experience one of a kind and I cannot express my gratitude enough toward those kind and caring men.

I went here on a day pass so I don’t know what the rooms are like. But this was a last minute decision & I ended up arriving a little later than I wanted to but boy I don’t regret it because the 3/4 hours I had left, I had a time! This place was beautiful!!! I don’t know if the other iberostar locations in Mexico can beat this one, if they can WOW. I arrived late for lunch but was able to get 1 plate of the seafood paella it was so good I had to find some more! Now the drinks are watered down but I wasn’t even mad because it gives you this nice, light, airy feel good drunk not sloppy drunkenness. Top tier. I don’t do resorts because I like spending on tours/activities/different eateries but this resort might of just changed my mind/perspective!!

First time ever being here, felt very comfortable around the entirety of this place. Staff cleans the rooms, washrooms and dining areas very well. They're very kind and friendly. My favourite part is the sweet local wildlife. P.S the cats are adorable and playful.
